No. It's a one-time in-app purchase: you pay once and it never renews.

Press and hold the book in your library (or select it) and tap “Share”. iOS's share sheet opens: you can send it via AirDrop, WhatsApp, Mail, Messages or any other installed app that accepts files.

Yes. Turn on multiple selection in your library, mark the books you want and tap “Share”: a single share sheet is created with all the files attached.

Yes. From a folder's context menu, tap “Share”: it packages the whole folder — with its subfolders and names — into a single file. Whoever receives it with Audia 1.0.4 or later gets the same folder structure back when they open it.

Yes. When sharing any page from Safari (or another app), tap “Audia” in the share sheet: it's saved and imported as soon as you open the app, just as if you'd pasted its link by hand.

DRM-free EPUB, PDF with selectable text, MOBI, AZW, PRC, TXT, RTF, DOCX, ODT and FB2, plus pasted text and web articles. It doesn't support protected ebooks or PDFs that only contain scanned images — see the EPUB guide and the PDF guide for more detail.

Yes. Tap the + button and choose “Add URL”, then paste the link. If it's a newspaper or blog's website, Audia adds its 10 most recent articles to a new folder; if it's a specific page's URL, it saves only its reading content as a new book. More detail in how to listen to articles and news.

Yes. At the end of any article imported from the web there's an “Original article” link that opens it in Safari, in case you want to see it exactly as it was — with its images, layout or comments.

Yes. Copy the text in any app — Notes, Mail, a web page... — and in Audia tap the + button and choose “Paste”: a new book is created from that text. It also works for pasting a book or an entire folder copied in the Files app.

A catalog inside the app, with public-domain classic novels and original titles written and edited by Audia. It opens from your library's + button, by tapping “Browse Audia Library” — see some examples on classic books in audio.

Tap your library's + button, choose “Browse Audia Library”, find the book you want — you can filter by category or language — and tap it. It downloads and is added to the root of your library, ready to read and listen to.

There's no separate cost: they count like any other book you import, so if your plan has a book limit, they count toward it too.

Yes, only for the initial download. Once imported, the book is yours: it reads and plays offline like the rest of your library.

Books written and edited by Audia — not public-domain classics — designed to be listened to: novels, short fiction, short non-fiction... They're marked with their own label on the book's detail page.

It depends on the book's language and whether its translation is still under copyright. When that's the case, Audia says so and the title may not be available in your country; many Spanish classics are translations already in the public domain, and those in their original language (English, for example) are read exactly as they were written.

Yes. Press and hold a book in your library — or open the ••• menu in the reader — and tap “Rate” to give it 1 to 5 stars. You can then sort your library by rating from the sort menu.

31 languages in total: Spanish, English, French, German and Italian, with the most polished reading of numbers and dates, plus 26 more — from Portuguese and Japanese to Arabic or Russian — that you can turn on in Settings under “Other languages”.

Yes, there are 15 neural voices to choose from for each book. You can listen to each one before deciding, adjust its speed and save your favorites — if you read in Spanish, check out the voices with Spain pronunciation.

Yes. The voices are models built into the app itself: nothing is sent to any server to generate the audio, so you can listen to your books with no Wi-Fi or data. The only exception is importing a web page, which does need a connection to download it.

Yes. In Settings, tap “Pronunciation correction”, choose the book's language and enter how the text appears and how it should sound. There's a play button on each correction so you can test it with the chosen voice before saving it.

Yes, if you turn on “Sync progress and bookmarks” in Settings — it's off by default. With your iCloud account, Audia remembers which sentence you left off at in each book, your bookmarks with notes, and the rating you give it, across all your devices signed into the same account. It also survives deleting the app and reinstalling it.

Only your reading progress, bookmarks and rating travel through iCloud — never your books' content. Each book has to be imported separately on each device, or shared by you.

No. Text-to-speech narration is generated on the device itself; your books never leave it, except when you choose to share them, or if you turn on progress sync — which never includes the content, only where you are in the book.
